Bura naa maano Holi hai!!! The colourful festival of the year has arrived and your favourite TV celebs reveal how they are planning to celebrate it
Rising Star 3 judge, Neeti Mohan said, "This is my first Holi after marriage and I’m very excited about it. My family hails from Delhi and we sisters have always celebrated Holi with our friends and family. Even this year, I will be spending time with both sides of the families. Often, due to hectic schedules, we don't see each other but festivals are when we meet and spend some good time together and that's what I'm planning to do. I wish everyone, a safe Holi.”
Sonali Naik aka Savitri Mai of Gathbandhan said, “I’m a Maharashtrian and the excitement of Holi is in the delicacies that my mother prepares. Puranpolis are my weakness. This year, I will be treating my co-actors to Puranpolis and will celebrate the festival on the sets of Gathbandhan. I urge everyone to please play chemical free Holi and respect our four-legged friends too.”

Gathbandhan actress, Shruti Sharma said, “Holi is the most awaited festival and this year it’s going to be my first Holi in Mumbai and I'm anxious to see how Holi parties unfold here. Although, I will miss being at home, I will play Holi on the sets of Gathbandhan and apply organic ‘Gulaal’ to all my co-actors, who are now my extended family.”
Shashank Vyas who plays the role of Roopendra in Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop said, “I am originally from Ujjain and Holi is celebrated lavishly there. We used to binge on gujjiyas and even when I am in Mumbai, I make sure that I follow the tradition. Since I am shooting for Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop this year, I don't think I will be able to play Holi but will try and feast on gujjiyas to keep up with the tradition. I miss being at home but I'm looking forward to the fun on sets.”
Khoob Ladi Mardani Jhansi Ki Rani actor, Ankur Nayyar who plays Ganga Das said, “Holi is a festival of colors and it has always been my favorite time of the year. Back in Pathankot, Punjab where I am from, we used to get together with all our cousins and friends and dunk ourselves in a pool of water and splash colours. After coming to Mumbai, there are many Holi parties that I have been a part of and all our friends meet there and enjoy ourselves. I wish all my fans a very happy holi, play safe, be safe and enjoy.”
Adaa Khan who’s currently seen on the TV show Sitaara said, “I always celebrate Holi with my family and friends. We still go to burn the Holika and celebrate the true spirit of the festival. During my childhood, my friends and I used to play with colours and make water balloons but now we've become more conscious of our environment. Also, due to our busy shooting schedule, I will celebrate the festival on the sets of COLORS' Sitaara with the crew and cast. I wish all my fans a very Happy Holi!”
